The project involved transforming an existing waste transfer station at Fareham, generating fuel from waste.The client needed to build two new substations. One Way had to fit in with the electricity supplier Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) who were commissioned to design and supply a High Voltage substation. One Way Electrical was appointed as principal electrical contractor to modify the electrical installation to the former Remploy Building. We worked closely with Stairbox Senior Management to upgrade and meet the requirements of the client’s expansion project within a short time frame. One Way Electrical were appointed for the Electrical design and installation of two new purpose built units housing a vehicle inspection line and vehicle image studio, also an extension to the existing bodywork repair workshop and refurbishment of offices. The two units and extension covers 2564m² in floor area. While the main aim was to install power supplies to the clients equipment and to light the work areas, cutting running costs were high on the agenda. Read more here.

This involved the extension of the existing LV distribution panel and the modification of high level busbar trunking to allow the installation of an additional LV Panel close to the new manufacturing plant.
