Wayne Bennett

Managing Director – One Way Electrical

Wayne began his career as an electrician as an apprentice working for Hepher Electrical Services, completing a full Joint Industry Board qualification. After almost ten years honing his skills and developing his experience in the electrical industry, Wayne moved RD Wild & Co Electrical Contractors, where he worked as a contractor for many years before taking on the role of Managing Director when the existing holder retired.

Then in March 2012, became and remains as the MD of One Way Electrical. Day to day, he is responsible for designing and delivering major projects and constantly looking for ways that the company’s systems can be improved. Wayne’s favourite part of his role is that every job is bespoke and seeing the end solution in a working environment is rewarding and satisfying. To date, Wayne cites his greatest working achievement as being involved in the electrical design and delivery of a state of the art, £25 million, fully enclosed residual Materials Recycling Facility in Scotland.

When he isn’t busy overseeing his team of dedicated electrical contactors, Wayne enjoys tinkering with his collection of classic vehicles and renovating properties, which he finds relaxing.

Aidan Beech

Electrical Estimator – One Way Electrical

Aidan Beech is One Way Electrical’s Electrical Estimator and an integral part of our team who helps get potential projects off the ground. Aidan spends his day to day analysing data to help determine the costs of electrical projects from fire alarm installations to emergency lighting maintenance. As a valued member of the company for the last 3 years and 9 months, Aidan has achieved a lot in the time that he has worked for us, completing his extended diploma in electrical and electronic engineering, which he cites as his greatest working achievement to date.

His favourite part of the job is the variety of projects he gets to work with and the new challenges that each one brings, allowing him to develop his skills and learn more about the field.  When he’s not analysing data or calculating costs, Aidan enjoys travelling and sightseeing in new places and can be found frequenting car shows across the country. When he’s not travelling to a car show, he can be found under to hood, working on cars and putting his methodical nature to his hobbies.
